My name is Graham Kent and I’m an experienced technology leader with 20 years of broad IT experience in infrastructure, support and operations behind me. I’m about to start a new role at Save the Children International later this month. Currently I’m at home enjoying 2 weeks of holiday between roles.
GlobalGoat is both the name of my consulting company and also my online identity which you can find in many of the usual places across the web, such as linkedin, flickr, blogger and twitter . This website provides a central location of links to all my presences on the web.
Through GlobalGoat I provide technology advisory services based upon my 20 years experience in the industry. Currently I’m enjoying focusing these services on non-profit and 3rd sector organisations and often I’ll do these engagements for free if I like the organisation enough.
I am a confident communicator at all levels of an organisation, having delivered numerous training courses and onsite assessments with enterprise level customers, throughout my career to date. I have also spoken at a number of public events such as technical conferences and various career days for IT students.
English is my native language but I’m comfortable working within Swedish organisations as well after living in the country for 5 years between 2006 and 2011.
You can also find some of my thoughts about Sweden on one of my other websites, Undiscovered Stockholm.
